The Guide World Classic Tour 2019 is a combination of the four major long-distance roller ski events in Europe. The tour was formed in 2015 to encourage and increase participation in roller skiing, but also to keep cross-country skiing running during the summer period.
For the third consecutive year, Guide is the main sponsor of the World Classic Tour.
The Blink Classics roller ski race covers a distance of 60km over the beautiful landscape between Ålgård to Sandnes in Norway. Here you can see the worlds best elite skiers from both World Cup and long-distance skiing.
A roller ski race up hill, Lysebotn fjord is a 7,5 km climb with 640 meters elevation. Traditionally, Lysebotn Opp is climbed in skating technique, but this year the participants will only be allowed to use their arms, using only the double poling technique.
Alliansloppet is the World biggest roller ski race with 1200 participants on average every year. The race covers a distance of 48km and is considered to be the summer version of Vasaloppet.
Toppidrettsveka is the new and final event of the tour in 2019. The race will be held on Hitra island with amazing scenery over a distance of 47km. As with Blink Classics, Toppidrettsveka gathers the worlds best elite skiers in both World Cup and long-distance skiing.
